Sewing and Quilting Classes for Adults
Sewing and Quilting Classes for adult beginners, coming in April/25 to beautiful Fergus, ON.
These classes will emphasize improvisational and modern quilting basics.
This friendly, non-judgemental and accessible program is intended to enhance a feeling of belonging, enjoyment, and accomplishment. As we work together, we build community and friendships.
The Details:
Each session will be divided into four classes, provided once per week.
Each session will provide skills learning opportunities as participants work toward a completed project.

Where: Classes will take place at String Theory Yarn Shop, 152 St. Andrew St. W., Fergus, Ontario, Canada.
When: Wednesdays, 7 - 8:30 pm, starting April 9th.
Participants will learn:
measuring and cutting skills,
hand and machine sewing skills,
pattern following skills,
use of sewing tools,
an understanding of different types of fabric and their properties,
Each project will be started, progressed upon, and completed within the four-class session.

Quilted cushion cover
A simple garment
Quilted Heart Charm
Quilted cushion cover - Maypole pattern
Striped and quilted! Improvisational quilting techniques.
Cost:
Each session (of four classes) will be $160 + applicable taxes. Most materials are included*. A maximum of four students may attend each session.
